The BEAST system, Browning Electronic Assist Shifting Technology uses a two button system for the front shifter that sends an electronic signal to the black box shown and it "shifts" the hinge to move the chain to the next chainring. We have a few versions of it from Browning, Suntour and two sets of Cooks prototypes.
